Christmas presents at Great Grandpa's and Grandma's

Also on the day before Christmas Eve, we went to visit my Grandpa and Grandma (therefore Dane's great grandparents). He had a lot of fun opening presents there too!! He got a ton of hot wheels, a football and a small basketball perfectly sized for him! He really loved them all and I loved spending time with Grandpa and Grandma! BTW, the reason Dane has on a HUGE hat is because he insisted he "needed" to wear a hat and Luke's hat was in the car, so he adopted it for a day, which is weird for him...usually he doesn't wear hats for very long before taking them off.

Christmas begins....

Dane's Christmas began the day before Christmas Eve at Mammie's house. She decided to let us open our presents early and Dane got something he's been wanting for a long time (since he saw it on tv the first time)! A Thomas Aquadoodle! He just loves it and will draw tracks for hours! It's the perfect gift for him.

Our baby Scooter...being tortured by our baby Dane!

So Dane has decided to try and get along with Scooter and on Saturday he was particularly fond of him...somedays he really doesn't like Scooter at all. Anyway, so we were all outside and he loves chasing Scooter and this time he actually picked up Scooter (he's tried before but never succeeded without being snapped at). It was so funny. Look at the terror in Scooter's eyes! I am so glad that I take my camera around pretty much everywhere with me!

playing outside in the nice December weather...

This past weekend Dane got to play outside a lot with his Daddy and Grandaddy while they worked on Grandaddy's truck. He played around the yard with Luke's old dump truck. Dane had a grand time and the weather was really nice for December...not a surprise for Texas weather. I just love these pictures of him in this particularly cute shirt!

A few of my favorites from the past....

I just love looking at photos from a while ago...I already miss my little baby, Dane...now he's such a big boy! He can even pull his own pants up now (it took him a while to get the hang of that one). I seriously think it's time for another baby, but I want to make our trip to Hawaii first because I really don't want to fly while I'm pregnant! We'll see what happens though. I can't believe Dane will be going to kindergarten in less than a year and a half. It brings tears to my eyes...I'm going to have to have another kid I guess, so I'll be okay with him going to school! :)

Chopsticks...at Tokyo Steakhouse!

This is the first time Dane has really got a chance trying out chopsticks. He loved trying to figure them out and playing with them. I really wish that we ate with them all the time (sometimes) so he could learn how to use them like little Japanese kids. It's a skill to use chopsticks, but anyone can use a fork! He really liked all the action we saw at the restaurant too..the cooking, the little volcanoes made out of onions, and of course the fire! It was really fun for us all!

My little Sushi chef

I don't know if this outfit is meant to look like a sushi chef or samurai...either would be fine, but I think he looks so
much cuter dressed as a sushi chef! It's just funny to me. We bought this a seriously long time ago in Japan and just had him try it on a few months ago ( I had forgotten about it) and it barely fit him! I think he looks super cute and he's so cooperative when I make him pose for all kinds of photos I want to take of him. That sure makes me happy!

Happy Holiday Inflatables!

My dad bought Dane these awesome inflatables so he could look out the window and see his very own snowman whenever he wants to. I'm so glad he bought the penguin too...it's my favorite! Dane loves them and we do too! He is such a lucky boy to have such a cool Granpa!

Sad, sad, boy...

I promise...I'm not the meanest mommy in the world...taking pictures of my little boy crying.
Normally I would console him, but at this moment, he was in trouble and I thought it was a perfect moment to show him I'm still boss by snapping a few shots of him...otherwise how would I ever get pictures of him crying. I think it's sweet... I want to have pictures of everything Dane does, not just when he's happy, so there's my motive!

Guereca Christmas party

Our Guereca Christmas party was reinstated this year at Aunt Jeri's house. It was a lot of fun getting to see family, some of which I hadn't seen since the last Guereca party--three years ago. The following list of photos is for my brother's sake...
